FT Island’s concert in Kwangju was canceled

The scheduled solo concert of FT Island last March 15 at the Daejung Convention Center in Kwangju was canceled and caused a buzz among fans. The ticket refund already started on the 13th.

Although the company that planned the concert and even FNC, which is the group’s label, apologized for the inconveniences the canceled concert has done, both sides did not reveal the details why the concert was canceled.

“The concert was canceled because of unavoidable circumstances. The ticket refund is on going and we apologize to fans who looked forward to this concert,” an official of the company that planned the concert announced.

“The concert was canceled because of a problem with the planning company but sorry we can’t say any details,” FNC clarified.

As expected, fans were greatly displeased with the turn of events.

“I spent 55,000 won for a ticket and I was surprised to get a message in my cellphone that the concert was canceled. The concert should have been thoroughly prepared for fans,” a fan who bought her ticket online commented.

“We usually can’t go to Seoul to see FT Island because we live in the province but we really love the group. Do you understand how we feel about this?” a message posted in a blog.
